Handcrafted by a group of watchmakers at OMEGA’s Atelier Tourbillon in Switzerland, this limited edition timepiece combines a true example of watchmaking with the brand’s most advanced and beautiful creations.
The 43mm brushed case is crafted from 18K Canopus gold with a polished bezel, lugs and case back, and 18K brushed gold. Gold dial with dark gray logo and inscriptions. The dial is further divided into a fluted central ring made of 18-carat gold and outer sections with hour hands and indices, which have been coated with Canopus Gold PVD.
To enhance the effect, a titanium tourbillon bridge with hand-polished chamfering is set on a diamond-polished 18-carat Canopus gold seconds hand. On the back, a hand made of 18-carat gold and blackened by PVD indicates the power reserve of the watch. The crown, also made of polished 18K Canopus gold, has Ω set in 18K gold.
The watch comes on a brown leather strap with a polished 18K gold Canopus buckle. The watch has a sapphire crystal caseback through which you can see the 18-carat gold caliber 2640 Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement from OMEGA. Each tourbillon comes in a special box with a certificate of authenticity, a travel case and a watch crown cap.
Building on the success of its 2022 release, the Laureato 38mm Copper, Girard-Perregaux is pleased to unveil an additional version of the watch featuring a diamond-set bezel. The mid-sized model is endowed with a copper-hued dial adorned with Clous de Paris. This three-dimensional horological vista exhibits an array of shades depending on the available light source. Gracing the bezel, a circlet of diamonds serves to frame the dial and further contributes to the model’s dynamic appearance. Remaining true to the legendary Laureato design, first seen in 1975, the case and integrated bracelet splendidly juxtapose different shapes to glorious affect.
