Encased in solid 18K pink gold (750/1000), the timepiece features a sapphire crystal with antireflective coating and a transparent case back, offering a full view of the intricate movement within. The dial is a masterpiece of three-dimensional art and storytelling. It features 12 individually micro-sculpted pink gold knights, each approximately 6mm tall and uniquely crafted to represent the legendary guardians of the Round Table. Surrounding them are 56 hand-assembled blocks composed of pink gold, glass, and basalt—the very stone found at the legendary Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland. These blocks, ranging from 0.2mm to 3.7mm in size, are positioned at oblique angles to create a dynamic sense of movement and depth, further emphasizing the mystical setting.
The watch is paired with a black calf leather strap, reflecting Roger Dubuis’ commitment to non-exotic materials. Hublot has engineered a new watchmaking construction to uniquely and innovatively display its extraordinary power reserve. In this design, traditional platinum is replaced by long bridges fixed on either side of a ring serving as the movement’s base. This original approach, combined with skeletonized components, gives the Manufacture HUB1201 caliber a tri-dimensional effect and striking depth, visible from the side of the case or underneath.
Hublot, renowned for its mastery of fusion and precious metal alchemy, has developed a new gold color with a warmer hue than traditional 5N 18K gold. This exclusive King Gold alloy, which primarily contains platinum, is ideal for polishing and satin finishing.
The watch case measures 45 mm in size and is made from microblasted 18K King Gold. The bezel is also crafted from microblasted 18K King Gold and secured with six H-shaped titanium screws. The watch offers water resistance up to 100 meters or 10 ATM. The sapphire crystal features an anti-reflective treatment for enhanced clarity.
The dial is a matte black skeleton design, showcasing the intricate mechanics within. The movement is the HUB1201 Manufacture manual-winding skeleton power reserve movement, offering an impressive 10-day power reserve.
