This unique watch model owes its name to the aviation pioneer Alberto Santos Dumont. It first appeared in 1904 and, as legend has it, it was created by Cartier on Santos’ order to help the Brazilian pilot keep time correctly.
The watch remained a legend and after over a hundred years, the Santos model received another incarnation. This time it is a skeleton masterpiece made of gold and steel, with a transparent case made of sapphire glass. The watch mechanism inside is unique, with elements also made of yellow gold. At first, the untrained eye will see mainly gears and intersecting strips of precious metal. Only a careful look will reveal the Roman numerals – III, VI, IX, XII located around the square center of the watch mechanism.
This unique men’s timepiece is made, along with the bracelet with gold and steel.

Always ahead of his time, conciliating tradition, innovation and modern technology, f.p.journe has developed a revolutionary horological concept for his first ladies collection. It was designed and conceived exclusively for women, with extremely precise technical specifications to provide this watch a long autonomy of 8 to 10 years in daily use and up to 18 years in standby mode.
8 years of development were necessary for this innovative movement that combines a great comfort of use and the performances of an electro-mechanical watch with feminity, elegance and precision. The “élégante” allows the time to be stopped and started again. This is the dream of all watchmakers…
The concept of this electro-mechanical watch features a mechanical motion detector visible on the dial at 4:30. When the “élégante” is motionless, it goes in stand by mode after 35 minutes to save its energy and the hands stop turning. During the standby mode, the microprocessor continues to keep time, while the mechanical parts – gears, rotors and hands – stop moving. When the “élégante” is moved again, the hands sets themselves automatically to the current time, taking the shortest path – either clockwise or counter clockwise.
All the mechanical elements of the “élégante” movement are manufactured by f.p.journe, based on the brand’s own criteria of excellence in state-of-the-art haute horology. The electronic components are made in switzerland according to exclusive standards, with a microprocessor specifically created for the watch.
The luminescent dial of the “élégante” in the titanium versions recalls the shimmering surface of white mother-of-pearl. It offers maximum legibility, by day and by night. At night the hands count off the hours, as in a shadow theatre. As a finishing touch to his first ladies collection, f.p.journe has chosen a flat tortue case, whose design is trademarked.
As françois-Paul Journe says: “i created this watch because for 20 years, women have been asking me to design a watch for them; a watch that was different and comfortable to wear, and that suited their needs and desires. I therefore created this long-lasting watch especially for them. The “élégante” 40mm titanium is available with 8 coloured rubber straps: white, powder rose, orange, chocolate, black, anthracite, midnight blue and khaki green. The ergonomic shape of the straps perfectly embraces the wrist.

The Grand Central Tourbillon is a spectacular new collection, where the Tourbillon is in the spotlight, placed at the center of the timepiece. One of the complexities of the collection, lies in the fact that we had to totally rethink the watch in order to move the Tourbillon from its original position at 6 o’clock to the center of the watch. In addition, Franck Muller designers and watchmakers had to find an innovative way to place the hour and minute hands around the Tourbillon cage, highlighting the beauty of the piece.
Quai des Bergues Lady No.7
From the Quai des Bergues Lady collection, Czapek presents the Lady No.7 model, clad in a luxurious 1N white gold case and adorned with lustrous diamonds. The model measures a 38.5mm diameter and is topped with a curved scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass lens that protects the surface of a stunning mother of pearl dial. The captivating pearly shades of the dial are accompanied by glistening VVS diamonds located at each hour marker. The display, with white gold Fleur de Lys hands, also features a small second sub-dial at 7 o’clock and a power reserve indicator at 5 o’clock.
The Czapek Quai des Bergues Lady No.7 watch is powered by one of the brand’s proprietary movements, complete with double open ratchets, sandblasted bridges, blue screws, bevelling, and final anglage decoration that have all been made visible through a sapphire crystal glass caseback. The manual winding movement is capable of producing a 7 day power reserve that can be read from the power reserve indicator at 5 o’clock. To complete its elegant look, the white gold Quai des Bergues watch is fitted on a deep blue alligator leather strap with a white gold buckle.

The Antarctique is a 40.5 mm or 38.5 mm three-hander, thin enough to slip comfortably under a cuff, and with a carefully-honed, edgy look. The transparent case back reveals the model’s beating heart, the vigorous, 30-millimeter SXH5 automatic caliber, conceived internally by a multifaceted team. Special attention was given to both performance and appearance, so the movement’s parts are arranged for visual harmony and transparency.

Created in 1931, the iconic Reverso watch has been enriched with a new stainless steel model featuring two faces as elegant as they are contrasting. In addition to the Duoface concept offering a 2nd time zone, this timepiece equipped with Manufacture Calibre 853 displays a complete calendar. In keeping with the aesthetic codes of the first Reverso models (iconic gadroons, applied hour-markers, Dauphine hands), the grained dial on the front gives way to a new, resolutely contemporary back. On the deep blue sunray dial, the double hour-markers surrounding the minute track form an elegant decoration in which a new Night/Day disc is set. The Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar comes with two easily interchangeable bracelets with a strong vintage character.
