Indeed, it is the terroir that imbues their creations with a distinctive flavour. Now, these two prestigious names have come together and conceived a timepiece that unites both worlds, culminating in the release of a slim, elegant timepiece incorporating a dial formed of pebble that promises to bestow a lasting allure. The watch, limited and numbered to 18 pieces, will be exclusively and only available to the private guests of the Château Latour estate and the Villa Girard-Perregaux in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the ancestral home of the Manufacture.

Girard-Perregaux unveils two new versions of the Quasar Light, a timepiece renowned for taking ‘transparency to the extreme’. This contemporary expression of Haute Horlogerie pays tribute to the Maison’s now-iconic three arrow-shaped bridges, patented 140 years ago. In common with its traditional antecedents, the Quasar Light 140 is equipped with a tourbillon but it also embraces modernity with its distinctive sapphire crystal bridges and case.

Since unveiling the ultra-modern Laureato Absolute collection in 2019, Girard-Perregaux has continuously explored cutting-edge materials. The new Laureato Absolute 8Tech, the latest addition to the Laureato Absolute collection, draws on the Manufacture’s amassed knowledge. Using 8Tech, a groundbreaking technique, the case is formed of octagonal carbon parts, creating a random structural pattern. Once again, the Laureato Absolute showcases Girard-Perregaux’s ability to optimise avant-garde materials to breathtaking effect.
